Pastor Richard serves as our Lead Pastor and is our primary teacher on Sunday mornings. Additionally, he leads our church by casting vision, training leaders, and overseeing worship. Pastor Richard also serves as a Church Plant Catalyst with the Send Network helping churches plant churches all over Maryland & Delaware.
Pastor Richard and his wife Payton have been married since 2020 and live in Salisbury, Maryland with their German Shepherd, Mearhsa. In 2021, Pastor Richard led a team to plant Canvas and has served as our lead pastor since that time. In the past, Richard has served in ministry as a chaplain with Coca Cola, an outreach & creative pastor, an outreach director, and a chaplain for a biker organization. In the secular work force, he has worked as a copier salesman, debt collector, bouncer and in retail management.
When he isn't leading the church or serving with Send Network - Richard enjoys spending time writing songs with friends, exploring small towns and big cities with Payton, writing poetry, and eating all the taco's he can find!
